Top 5 Food Delivery Services on iOS in Europe Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the European food delivery market on iOS showed interesting trends among the top 5 applications. Here's a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

getir: groceries, food&beyond saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 150K in late September and peaking at approximately 366K in the last week of December. Active users also followed an upward trajectory, growing from about 1.5M to over 2.7M by the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a more stable trend in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 138K and 170K throughout the quarter. The app's active users showed a slight decline from approximately 4.9M in late September to around 4.9M by the end of December, with a significant dip to about 3.9M in mid-December.

Deliveroo: Food & Shopping maintained a steady pace in weekly downloads, ranging from around 92K to 198K. Weekly active users saw minor fluctuations, starting at about 2.2M and ending at approximately 2.3M, with a dip to around 1.9M in mid-December.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, from around 136K in late September to approximately 80K by the end of December. Active users also decreased, starting at around 1.9M and ending the quarter at about 1.6M.

Glovo: Food Delivery and more had weekly downloads ranging from approximately 82K to 147K, with the highest number of downloads occurring in early November. Active users saw a slight increase from around 988K in late September to approximately 1.1M by the end of December.
